# Camera EVB A0 — metadata-synchronized candidate

This independent candidate copies the localized camera EVB A0 source and synchronizes PCB display metadata with the schematic. The localized audit source remains unchanged.

The update changes footprint values, library IDs, descriptions, and the TP1 bill-of-materials flag only. TP1 is a bare copper test pad and is excluded from the BOM in this candidate's schematic and PCB. Local `Core1106` and `CameraEVB` symbol libraries are generated from the candidate schematic's embedded symbol definitions. No connectivity, routing, geometry, or component footprint pads were intentionally changed.

KiCad 10.0.6 ERC is 0 errors / 0 warnings; PCB DRC is 0 violations / 0 unconnected items; the independent pin map passes 59 connected pads and 82 explicit no-connects. The 141 retained schematic-parity warnings are classified as 59 root-sheet slash-prefix differences and 82 explicit no-connect pads; the warnings remain in the report. See `camera_evb_parity_classification.json`.

Run `sync_metadata_candidate.py` with KiCad 10.0.6's bundled Python to recreate the metadata update. Then run `verify_camera_evb_a0.py`, KiCad ERC/DRC with schematic parity, and `classify_parity.py`. `metadata_sync_candidate.json` records the source hashes and exact fields changed.

This remains a bench-carrier candidate. The 20-pin FFC orientation, SoM power/current, CSI impedance and signal integrity, reset timing, physical fit, assembly, and end-to-end lamp performance still require engineering review and hardware tests. It is not a manufacturing release.
