# Core1106 RGB666 carrier-board pin crosswalk

Date: 2026-10-09
Status: public-document-derived design input; not yet checked against a selected LCD, carrier-board CAD, or hardware.

## Result

The official Core1106 schematic maps the 18-bit parallel display bus plus DE, HSYNC, VSYNC, and pixel clock onto module pads 90–111. The CSV in this folder records the module pad, GPIO label, SoC LCDC function, SoC ball number, and I/O bank for each signal. The 112-pad Core1106 schematic is used as the physical pad-number source; the Core1106 overview page separately mentions a 120-pin development-board interface, so do not use that board-level count for the module footprint.

All mapped signals are in the VCCIO6 I/O bank. The official Core1106 module schematic ties its `VCCIO6_VCC` supply pin to `VCC_3V3`, so the module reference design uses a nominal 3.3 V I/O rail; see the [cropped source excerpt](Core1106-VCCIO6-source-clip.png). Do not add a level shifter by default. Before freezing a carrier board, verify the selected Core1106 model/revision, available source/sink current, and actual pin loading. The LCD input voltage tolerance and RGB timing remain unconfirmed; the screen must be compatible with this 3.3 V reference design or drive the interface adaptation decision.

## Screen candidate and unresolved interface

ChengHao's CH280QV26A material states 240×320 pixels, 50.0×69.2×2.4 mm module size, 43.2×57.6 mm active area, 300 cd/m², HX8347I-or-compatible controller, and SPI/MCU/SPI+RGB options. That establishes a possible interface family, not a finished connection. The official brochure includes a product drawing and FPC pin table, but the table is rasterized inside a 680×476 image and is not legible enough to use for CAD pin assignment. Obtain a high-resolution, revision-controlled FPC drawing and electrical specification. The accessible text does not identify the selected RGB bus width, FPC pin order, VDD/VDDIO range, clock limit, sync/DE polarity, porch timing, setup/hold, backlight current, or touch interface. Rotating the portrait panel may present a 320×240 software orientation, but mechanical fit and controller scan direction still need confirmation.

For the factory inquiry, request the exact RGB mode and 18-bit pinout; the complete FPC drawing including contact side, pitch, stiffener and cable length; logic and panel supply limits; initialization/strap requirements; RGB timing table; backlight Vf/If and thermal limits; optional touch-controller details; a matching datasheet revision; five engineering samples; and a 1,000-piece quotation including any custom FPC, test/NRE, tax, shipping, lead time, validity, and approved alternates. The existing inquiry remains unsent.

## Verification and source identity

`python3 verify_core1106_rgb_pinmap.py` checks that the table contains exactly 18 RGB bits and four timing signals, maps each signal once to pads 90–111, keeps the data-bit order consistent, and labels the I/O bank VCCIO6. It cannot validate the vendor schematic interpretation or physical signal integrity.

The downloaded public Core1106 schematic used for transcription was the 3-page PDF at `https://wiki.luckfox.com/assets/files/Core1106-75c4bf40ace3640ddb05ede0677ad4ca.pdf`, SHA-256 `96c7d4fabfbe92368cfa47adff624070d3965546be90905e5ada968e941fb892`. The pin crosswalk was read from page 1, component U3 (`Core1106G3`) and the RV1106G3 VO_LCDC signal assignments. The same page ties SoC pin 88 (`VCCIO6_VCC`) to the `VCC_3V3` net.

The downloaded CH280QV26A official brochure has SHA-256 `5845190100681ec9769711d1150390e97e5d6afb58d5a4b6bd2cac15bc8f2967`. Its page 2 product drawing is embedded at 680×476 pixels; it exposes pin-table artwork but not a readable, manufacturing-grade FPC assignment at that resolution.
