Budget includes PCB fabrication, assembly, setup and a test allowance. Components are included only when a component budget is entered for turnkey sourcing. For consigned builds, you supply the components. Freight, tax, process scope, firm pricing and lead time require engineering review.

Why is this a range and not a firm price?
Turnkey PCBA cost depends heavily on component sourcing. This calculator uses indicative rates for the bare board, SMT and through-hole placement, setup and test. The displayed range is a budgeting aid, not a guaranteed accuracy range. A firm quotation requires review of your files, agreed scope and current component availability.
What do you read from my Gerber?
Layer count, board outline dimensions, and placement count if a pick-and-place file is included. The files are parsed in your browser and never leave your machine — nothing is uploaded until you choose to send them with a quote request.
What is not in this number?
Components are excluded when the turnkey component budget is 0, and supplied by you for consigned builds. Additional tooling, functional test development, coating, custom packaging, freight and taxes are also excluded. Confirm the required scope before a firm quotation.
Do you do prototypes as well as production?
Yes. The calculator applies a low-volume premium below 100 pieces because setup dominates at that quantity. Prototype runs from 5 pieces are normal for us and often become production once the design settles.
