Specify approved manufacturers, substitution restrictions and any customer-supplied parts. Availability, lifecycle status and lead times need review before procurement.
Identify the assembly processes and any coating, programming or box-build work required. Provide inspection criteria, test procedures and acceptance limits for the quotation.
List the inspection, test and traceability records you need. Agree their format, product labels, packaging and shipping terms in the order scope.
Prepare your files with the PCB assembly quote package checklist. If delivery records are part of acceptance, use the PCBA traceability field template and guide to specify the required fields and export format.
Send the available revision of each file and mark missing items as pending. Include the quantity, destination, target date, and who will approve material substitutions and test limits. The engineering review will identify what must be resolved before a quotation can be confirmed.
