USB-C charging and battery protection feed an MCU, display, DC/DC stage, vibration-motor output, and heater switch; a skin-side NTC closes the thermal loop and gates fault shutdown.

  • Handle simultaneous cold-heater and motor startup without brownout or connector overheating.
  • Detect NTC detachment or a shorted heater switch before a local hot spot develops.

  • Map multi-point skin-side heat-up time, steady-state temperature, uniformity, and overshoot.
  • Simulate NTC open, short, and detachment plus heater-switch short, low battery, and abnormal USB input.
  • Run motor-start, charge-use policy, sweat, harness-flex, button, and repeated thermal-cycle tests.
