The brief

Start with the customer’s direction.

The customer supplied the initial concept, preferred appearance and reference sample. PCBA Partner handled the subsequent product development, incorporating customer feedback as the design progressed.

The integration task

Develop the interfaces together.

The integration task involved several connected assemblies: enclosure layers, internal modules, supporting frame, fans, heat-transfer parts, PCB and accessories. Their positions needed to be developed together for assembly, thermal layout and manufacturing handoff.

Our responsibility

From the initial design to manufacturing.

  1. Develop the product architecture

Translate the customer’s concept and styling direction into an exterior design, enclosure structure and overall product architecture.

  2. Coordinate the modules

Develop the relationships between the internal modules, frame, fans, heat-transfer components, PCB and accessories. Refine the layout around assembly and thermal considerations.

  3. Review prototypes and revisions

Carry the design through prototypes and project validation, incorporating customer feedback into controlled design iterations.

  4. Connect design to manufacturing

Continue through tooling, pilot improvements and production introduction, preparing the integrated assembly for manufacturing.

Published project evidence

Inspect the assembly relationships.

The exploded CAD and rendered views show the relationship between the enclosure, internal modules, frame, fans, heat-transfer parts and electronics. They make the multi-module packaging and assembly work available for review.

Project outcome and public record

The confirmed work covered product design, mechanical and thermal architecture, electronics integration, prototypes, validation, tooling, pilot improvements and production. The published drawings document design and assembly work. Cooling performance, power consumption, production quantities and certification results are not disclosed here.
