4D Smart Massage Chair Main Control PCBA
A representative system-control architecture for coordinating massage mechanisms, travel axes, recline actuators, air compression, heating, wired controls, and optional connectivity in a mains-powered chair.
Project context
How this product is typically engineered
A representative system-control architecture for coordinating massage mechanisms, travel axes, recline actuators, air compression, heating, wired controls, and optional connectivity in a mains-powered chair.
System architecture
Typical architecture
Protected mains input and isolated supplies feed several motor, actuator, pump, valve, and heater domains; a central MCU sequences motion from limit, position, current, and temperature feedback with local safety interlocks.
Engineering risks to resolve
Decisions to close before release
- Coordinate many axes and pneumatic loads without mechanical conflict, pinch, or uncontrolled travel.
- Handle simultaneous motor startup, wiring complexity, heat, and mixed-voltage EMC constraints.
- Recover to a defined safe state after sensor disagreement, hand-controller loss, or power interruption.
Validation plan
Checks to define before production
- Verify homing, full travel, direction, limits, current-based stall detection, emergency stop, and pinch scenarios.
- Test worst-case load combinations, input variation, thermal soak, insulation, and conducted or radiated emissions.
- Run complete motion, pneumatic, heating, harness-vibration, and fault-log endurance programs.
What to put in the RFQ
Files and records to agree before quoting
Use this list to agree the build inputs and release records for a similar product. The final set depends on the project.
Design baseline
Released schematic or block diagram, interface table, power states, critical constraints, and revision owner.
Manufacturing release
Gerber or ODB++, stack-up, centroid data, assembly drawings, approved DFM dispositions, and panel assumptions.
Material control
Released BOM revision, manufacturer part numbers, AVL or alternate rules, no-substitute lines, MSL handling, and exception approvals.
Validation record
Test method, acceptance criteria, sample or serial identity, measured result fields, and disposition. Example scope: Verify homing, full travel, direction, limits, current-based stall detection, emergency stop, and pinch scenarios.
Production release
First-article status plus the agreed SPI, AOI, X-ray, ICT, FCT, programming, rework, OQA, labeling, and packing records.
During RFQ review, we confirm the required fields, sampling, limits, approvals, and record-retention period. Confidential project information stays within the agreed access rules.
Development and production controls
Typical manufacturing scope
- Multi-axis motion and actuator sequencing.
- Pump, valve, heater, and hand-control integration.
- Homing, interlock, and diagnostic state management.
