A rechargeable battery powers an MCU, pump switch, pressure input, and controlled or normally open release path; optional heater and NTC channels share a supervised session state machine.

Decisions to close before release
- Guarantee rapid return to atmospheric pressure after any single control failure.
- Maintain repeatable negative pressure despite seal leakage, sensor drift, and battery variation.
- Keep condensation and pump noise away from the pressure sensor, electronics, and antenna.

- Calibrate against a standard chamber and record evacuation time, setpoint error, leakage, peak pressure, and release time.
- Inject blocked tubing, pump-switch failure, suspected sensor drift, valve failure, reset, and battery faults.
- Run pneumatic cycles, seal aging, moisture-return, charge, wireless, and optional heat-uniformity endurance.
