News: ICT Fixture Capacity Expanded for Mid-Volume Projects

To reduce queue time between pilot and repeat production, we added ICT fixture capacity and adjusted the internal scheduling window for mid-volume projects. The goal is simple: fewer delays when customers move from trial lots to regular releases.

What changed

  • Two additional fixture maintenance windows per week
  • Priority rules for projects with approved stable BOM revisions
  • Clear handoff checklist from NPI validation to repeat runs

Who benefits most

Programs in the 2,000 to 20,000 unit range typically see the most benefit, especially when product variants share the same core test architecture.

Important note

This is a capacity and coordination improvement, not a promise of fixed lead time for every project. Material availability and engineering changes still affect total schedule.
